About Cristina Barco

Keep doing the thing.

Brand Copywriter for Artist-Owned Businesses

I’m Cristina Barco - a website copywriter, brand strategist, and musician.  My biggest motivator is my belief that everyone should cultivate their talents every day, or at least prioritize what they love over what sucks them dry.

As artists, we often skirt away from monetizing our talents & tell ourselves what we really specialize in doesn’t fit the value system, and I’m sick of it.

As a brand copywriter, I help you show up in a way you’re proud of to attract the  dream clients that support what you care about, so you can keep doing the thing.

fun facts about me

it’s like an awkward ice breaker but I’m the only one that has to participate.

I professionally stage managed Oliver!  the musical before starting my business.

My Origin Story

Colorful Fisher-Price toy with buttons, a handle, and a cassette slot, resembling a portable tape recorder or a teaching device.

I grew up in Miami, Florida in the 2000s. My favorite toys were:

1. my cassette player x karaoke machine

2. a ‘my little pony’ collection

Collection of My Little Pony figurines featuring various colorful ponies with wings and horns, including characters with pink, purple, yellow, and blue manes and tails, and decorative symbols on their bodies.

I specifically enjoyed spit-singing into the toy mic until my brothers would burst into my room, yelling, “Shut up, you sound like a dying bird!!!”.

As for the my little pony collection, as you can probably tell from this website design, ‘cute’ and I just get along.

I like cute stuff, capturing magic, and helping other people capture their own magic.

As a website and brand copywriter, I use my out-of-the-box, multi-disciplinary mind to help business owners to fulfill their visions and cultivate  freedom.
